Main responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading teams to achieve objectives: budget, quality, and on-time delivery for a specific group of customers. 
  • Responsible for creating and updating schedules for the customers and internal team, and determining internal and external resources required for the programs and projects.  
  • Responsible for developing customer quotes by working with internal teams. 
  • Responsible for defining value streams and applying lean manufacturing principles, in conjunction with Facility Operations team.


Examples of specific responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating and closing action items between internal teams and customer.
  • Utilizing ERP system to provide updates on labor and material costs
  • Promoting teamwork and leading by example 
  • Assuring compliance with company standards, ISO 9000 / AS 9100 procedures, and FAA regulations.


Functional Relationships

  • Direct liaison and directly responsible for long-term relationships with customers
  • Reports to Division Senior Vice-President
  • Works as a team with Facility Operations Manager on operation and team performance

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years required in program management, sales, and/or manufacturing of aircraft interior components and/or completions.  

  • Experience and familiarity with build process and specifications for aircraft interior monuments.
  • Familiar with aircraft interior aesthetic criteria based upon common finishes, such as upholstery, paint, and laminate.

  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Project and MS Excel required. 
  • Experience in using an ERP system required
  • Training in Lean Manufacturing preferred.
  • Prior experience working in ISO 9000 / AS 9100 environments required
